Artist Reggie Medford has the distinction of being the youngest recipient of one of Barbados' highest honours – the Barbados Centennial Honour. Carving for over 30 years, the artist Reggie Medford can boast that he has developed a totally new technique that didn’t exist in Barbados before.
He has also specialized in creating absolutely one- of- a- kind sculptures from Barbados mahogany roots. The spectacular beauty of these unique forms has allowed them to grace the homes of collectors on virtually every continent and have been presented to various royalties, dignitaries and Heads of States including Nelson Mandela. The artist Reggie Medford has been featured on CNN and was recently recognized among the Caribbean's top artists by a USA Today travel writer.
