Great prices at 30%-50% less than in US and European stores and a wide selection of products makes duty-free shopping in Barbados a worthy venture. All tax-free stores offer free delivery service to the airport or harbor and most tax-free purchases can also be handed over the counter upon presentation of ticket and passport/travel document. The following information is a guideline for allowances but you should check with the relevant customs authorities in your country of origin before exporting goods.

Please take note: If you export something worth more than the limit of £145, you will have to pay charges on the full value, not just on the value above £145. If you are traveling as a family or a group, you cannot pool your individual allowances towards an item worth more than the limit. You will have to pay charges on the full value of the item.

Following is a list of duty-free allowances that we advise you confirm before departing with your local goods.
