Pop on your explorer's hat and be prepared to take in some of the most breathtaking views of Barbados on foot, by taking part in one of the well established National Trust Hikes held weekly across the island.
Choose from a variety of hikes, with different levels of difficulty. Morning hikes begin at 6:00 a.m. Afternoon hikes (Stop 'n' Stare only) start at 3:30 p.m. The Moonlight Walks start at 5:30 p.m. Hikes range from 5 miles to 14 miles and some go through gullies and cane fields.
You are advised to dress comfortably, cover your skin, wear walking shoes and a hat for day tours. Also bring a light for night tours.
The Trust is a body incorporated by Act of Parliament to be involved in the preservation of places of historic, architectural and archaeological interest and of ecological importance or natural beauty. Donations are accepted.
Visitors and locals are welcome!
