Starting on Friday, Jan 13 2023 with the Opening Ceremony, the Barbados Sailing Week begins with a weekend of dinghy competitions. In the dinghy class, Barbados Sailing Week gives young people and upcoming local talent from the island the opportunity to compete in this sustainable sport.
This weekend is followed by multiple days of offshore sailing races along the West and South coasts of Barbados, starting Monday, Jan 16th. Culminating in the big event; the legendary Mount Gay Round Barbados Race on Saturday, Jan 21st, followed by the final offshore race and the Award Ceremony on Sunday, January 22nd.
In addition to the sailing events, the Kite and Wing Fest will take place on Saturday 21th and Sunday 22nd Jan at Oistins Bay and Long Beach. More information here.
