Coral Reef Club

+ Trip Planner

Quietly nestled in 12 acres of lush tropical gardens on Barbados’ famed West Coast, Coral Reef Club is the epitome of West Indian elegance. Renowned for its special ambiance and classic island style, this family owned and run resort is one of the finest in the Caribbean.

For over 60 years, The O’Hara family has been dedicated to providing excellence and to ensuring their guests’ every comfort. A member of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” the Coral Reef Club is situated on a white sandy beach and offers complimentary non-motorized water sports.

Use of the gymnasium and tennis courts is also complimentary. Overlooking the calm Caribbean Sea, alfresco dining at its best is enjoyed. Daily changing a la carte menus are featured, offering choices of fresh seafood and dishes combining classical cuisine with Caribbean ingredients and flavors.  There are just 88 rooms, cottages and junior suites named after the flowers, fruit and trees found in the grounds.  All rooms are spacious and well appointed and the Luxury Cottages feature a separate living room suitable for two children and a private plunge pool.

For the utmost luxury, however, the five Plantation Suites, with their own plunge pools and stunning interior design are the epitome of 21st century elegance and style. The Spa is housed within a beautiful colonial inspired building set within a tropical garden paradise.

Exotic vegetation and waterfalls weave throughout the spa, from the four multipurpose treatment rooms, each with its own private foot ritual patio and garden, to the Outdoor Pavilion for couples. Coral Reef Club’s staff has a strong eye for detail and ensures that guests are well looked after resulting in a high level of repeat guests to the hotel.
