Crop Over Festival

This summer Barbados invites travelers to live like a local and experience the island's lively Crop Over Festival, celebrating a 200 year-old tradition that honors the end of the sugar cane season. The festival celebrates all that is Bajan with dusk till dawn parties, arts and crafts markets and a culinary-driven street fares.

Grand Kadooment Day celebrates the end of Crop Over, where Masquerade Bands make their way to Spring Garden highway with revelers dressed in sequin costumes decorated with colorful feathers, jewels and bright accents; dancing behind music trucks and moving bars. The finale of Crop Over's events makes this the island's most exciting day of the year. As you will hear Bajans say: "Crop Over it sweet fuh days!"

ELIGIBILITY: This offer is valid for citizens and permanent residents of Caricom member states. Valid ID is required on check-in at the hotel. Failure to provide proof of citizenship and/or residency will result in guests paying the current BAR rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any request to cancel a reservation cannot be considered complete until a cancellation confirmation has been received with cancellation reference number. Until then, a booking will still be considered valid and cancellation penalties may be incurred. If confirmation of the cancellation or cancellation reference number is not received within 24 hours of the initial request, please contact the reservations office without delay. Payment made via credit card will be subject to 5% credit card transaction fees per cancellation.

SUMMER CANCELLATION POLICY: (01 July to 31-Oct) A 30 % penalty will be applied to bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival. No-shows and early departures will result in a 100% penalty.

PAYMENT TERMS: A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking and the balance due 8 days prior to arrival
