Barbados is home to some extremely talented craftsmen and artists. Many of them can be found at Pelican Village, Earthworks Pottery, Medford Craft World, Nigel Benn Aunty Shop and On The Wall Art Gallery. There are also stallholders on the road through St.Lawrence Gap, on the beaches and throughout Bridgetown.
Located in the heart of Barbados, Bridgetown is the island’s shopping capital. There you can find the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal, Dacosta’s Mall which is housed in the historic Colonnade building, Cave Shepherd where you can get just about anything from diamonds and designer wear to rum and souvenirs. There are also an abundance of other clothing and shoe stores, restaurants, food stalls and miscellaneous shops.
Barbados has 4 major shopping malls outside of Bridgetown. Sheraton Mall, Dome Mall and Sky Mall feature an array of local brands and Limegrove Lifestyle Center offers more upscale shopping options such as Louis Vuitton and Burberry. Limegrove Lifestyle Center and Sheraton Mall also have movie theatres.
