Bathsheba, St. Joseph
This is a special place cradled by hills and dotted with unique rock formations. Walk the village for views, to chat with locals or to select a spot for lunch. Keep going and discover the fishing boats, one cove over. Shade yourself under sea grape trees. Feel the wiry grass under bare feet in the park. Gather smooth stones. Explore the shallow exposed reef. Swimming isn’t advised unless you’re a surfer—this is a great spot for that, in the “Soup Bowl”. But there’s something even rarer here: the chance to loll in tide pools, under he shadows of ancient boulders. You can slip in and unwind for hours.
